RE: Northern Ireland Podiatrists Release Educational Video

It is always refreshing to see posted articles from international podiatrists. In general, they provide a much needed uplifting of podiatry. 

 

The short video from Northern Ireland was terrific. Wouldn't it be great if our leaders promoted our profession to the general public in such a simple yet informative way. Wow, just think if commercials ran with simple messaging like the Northern Ireland video. Thank you for finding this gem.

Agreed. the APMA needs to do a massive education campaign like this video for the public. Good job Northern Ireland. Our profession needs a massive public relations upgrade and only we can do that.

RE: Podiatry Screening to be Extended to All Malta Government Schools

I am happy to see foot screening occurring in Malta public schools. I have tried multiple times to do school screening of feet here in California with no success. I believe foot screening is as essential as screening for scoliosis. Has anybody been able to break through and get a local school district to do them. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I think this is very important and should be done for all elementary school children.
