Antipersirant Doubles Up as a Blister Buster: UK Podiatrist
|
Dina Gohil |
There are some clever ways to reuse your beauty products. Before you rush out and buy new cosmetics, try one of these ingenious bathroom cabinet solutions. Anti-perspirant doubles up as a blister buster. "Sweating increases moisture levels in feet, which creates the perfect environment, with friction, for blisters," says podiatrist Dina Gohil. "This is why using anti-perspirant deodorant will help prevent [blisters]." Gohil suggests spraying the anti-perspirant over the feet or smearing gel inside a shoe.

QUERIES NON-CLINICAL |
Query: Nursing Home Billing Service
Soon, I will be seeing patients as a contract physician in a long-term facility for the hospital I am on staff at. I will need to do my own billing outside of my current office where I work as an associate. Can anyone recommend a user-friendly online billing service that is not too expensive, so that I can do my own billing at home?
Laura Shea, DPM, Chicago, IL.

QUERIES (EMR) |
Query: Office Ally (Paid Version)
I am looking for reviews Office Ally's (Paid Version) EMR/EHR. We currently submit claims through them only, and use Amazing Charts for our EMR system. We need a single source for our practice management needs. OA is great for claims submission and I am hoping their PAID EHR is close in terms of ease of use.

RE: Outrageous Shoe of the Day
|
There once was a woman who lived in a shoe... |
The Shoe House, built in 1948 in Hellam, PA, was by far "Colonel" Mahlon N. Haines' most outlandish advertising gimmick. It is a wood frame structure covered with wire lath and coated with a cement stucco. It measures 48 ft. in length, 17 ft. in width at the widest part, and 25 ft. in height. The interior consists of five different levels and contains three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and a living room.
