Don't Experiment with OTC Products to Treat Chronic Itchy Feet: NY Podiatrist
While there are plenty of over-the-counter treatments at your disposal, if you’re dealing with chronic foot itching now is not the time to experiment. “These treatments only improve the symptoms,” Waldemar Majdanski, DPM explains. “It would be wise to see a foot professional such as a podiatrist or a dermatologist to evaluate the condition further and outline the proper treatment plan.”

“Typical recommendations include avoiding walking barefoot in public places, such as gyms and pools, airing out footwear at the end of the day, spraying the footwear with anti-fungal sprays, wearing comfortable breathable shoes to avoid increased sweating of the feet, and cleaning in between the toes after bathing or taking showers,” Dr. Majdanski explains.

Dr. Jhaveri, a Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine graduate, started a project with two of her friends in which she used her knowledge and contacts to help women. Her non-profit organization called Women Who Win now has over 5,000 members across the social media sites from over 80 countries. The organization posts articles every day and hosts webinars about different health conditions and women empowerment.

Focus on Six Key Areas for Successful Physician Partnerships
Physician partnerships require much pre-planning, careful structuring, and a whole lot of continued communication in order for them to be successful. Here are the six areas I recommend examining in great detail when undertaking the process of beginning and nurturing physician partnerships.
2. Current owner(s). The current physician owner (or owners) needs an internal perspective to see what impact adding a physician partner would make. Similar to deciding to get married, the end result (albeit good) will certainly not be the same as the current situation. What does the current owner want in a partner (financially, operationally, and strategically)? Is there an exit strategy for the current owner? Have there been any discussions with the potential partner about partnership?

RE: Biden Administration to End COVID-19 Public Health Emergency in May

So what exactly does this mean?
The PHE ends in May and, as required by law, the announcement must come 60 days prior. What exactly does this mean for both healthcare providers and patients? Initially, the flexibilities afforded by the PHE were to end 151 days after the PHE terminates. However, legislation passed in late December affords many flexibilities to telemedicine until the end of 2024. How this will affect patients obtaining home Covid testing, vaccines, Medicaid enrollment, MIPS, and other provider programs will likely be clarified in the coming weeks/months.

RE: Proposed Legislation Would Give More Than 2 Million Federal Workers an 8.7% Pay Raise In 2024

I was shocked when I read about the proposed bill introduced in the House and Senate called the Federal Adjustment of Income Rates Act, or the FAIR Act, which would give federal workers an average 8.7% pay raise next year. I was even more shocked when I further read that this is following an executive order signed by President Biden late last year giving federal workers a 4.6% pay raise in 2023, an act that Congress chose not to override in the $1.7 trillion spending bill it passed at the end of the year. This is the same bill that waives the 4-percent statutory pay-as-you-go (PAYGO) sequester cuts scheduled for 2023 and partially reduces the physician fee schedule cuts scheduled for 2023, limiting the expected reduction in Medicare physician pay to 2 percent in 2023.
The cuts would increase to 3.5 percent in 2024. If you do the math, the federal workers will receive a...
