TN Podiatrist to Share 9-11 Experiences

 

The Upper Cumberland Diversity Advocates is planning a special meeting and guest on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Svend Abrahamsen, DPM will share his experience as a resident, doctor, and participant during the events of Sept. 11, 2001 in New York.

Dr. Abrahamsen, who lived in New York and vicinity for more than 50 years, was only about one mile from the World Trade Center twin towers that were destroyed. He will tell of his first-hand experience on that fateful day. Abrahamsen is a doctor of podiatric medicine, with his degree being received from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
