OBITUARIES

RE: The Passing of Richard H. Lanham, Jr., DPM

 

Dr. Richard H. Lanham, Jr. (Dick), 88, passed away on December 11, 2023, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope, Indiana following a recent illness. Dr. Lanham graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1958 and attended Civic Hospital Residency Program in Detroit, Michigan in 1959.

Dr. Lanham was extremely active in both the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association and as a member of the Board of American Podiatric Medical Association, serving on many boards and commissions from 1979-87 and was President of APMA 1985-86. Following 24 years in private practice, Dick was hired as Dean for Academic Affairs at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, in San Francisco, CA and later became President of CCPM 1986-94.
