CA Podiatrist Granted “MD Affiliate” Status To AOSSM

 

Recognized as one of podiatric sports medicine’s most experienced practitioners, Howard F. Liebeskind, DPM was recently granted “MD-Affiliate” status into the nearly 4,000 member American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). He is the first podiatric sports medicine specialist to be so honored.

Dr. Liebeskind currently serves as team podiatrist to the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Football Club, and the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Teams. He is considered the  longest tenured “football podiatrist” globally, having served the national and international soccer communities for more than three decades. Dr. Liebeskind is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and is Board Certified in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.
