RE: Has Podiatry Lost Biomechanics?

The above noted article in the November/December issue of Podiatry Management rang true for me over this past weekend at a Christmas party in San Diego. A friend of my wife showed me her foot in heels and asked me what could she do to prevent her bunion from getting worse. I suggested orthotics and her reply was that she had a pair already and the pair her podiatrist made were terrible but the pair her chiropractor made were fantastic. That comment hit below the belt as bad as the comments that podiatrists were not “real” doctors that us senior podiatrists remember all too well.
