 AAPPM and PMI Launch Certification for Podiatric Practice Managers 

 

The American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM) has announced that it has partnered with Practice Management Institute (PMI), the nation's leading and largest provider of non-clinical practice management education, to conceive the first ever certification program for podiatric medical office professionals, the Certified Medical Office Manager – Podiatry (CMOM-POD).

AAPPM President Ben Weaver, DPM sparked the idea after his wife, Brooke, achieved her CMOM certification. Registration for the program is expected to be available by mid-May. Training webinars are expected to be available in July. Trainers are handpicked, well-known leaders in Podiatric Office Management. Program dates and information will be distributed via the AAPPM website.
