FL Podiatrist Joins Heart of Florida Physician Group Foot Care

 

Dr. Narmo Ortiz, Jr., a doctor of podiatric medicine, is now practicing with Heart of Florida Physician Group Foot Care in offices in Davenport. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Academy of Wound Management. Ortiz received his medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, where he also was a teaching assistant, and he completed his residency programs in primary podiatric medicine at BUSPM/Cedars Medical Center in Miami and in podiatric surgery at Coral Gables Hospital.

In addition, Ortiz pursued further surgical training in foot and ankle deformity correction and lower limb salvage in the U.S. and abroad in Greece, Italy, and Russia. Recently, Ortiz became a local clinical director of the Healthy Athletes' Fit Feet Program for the Special Olympics, Florida.
