RE: How Sick is American Healthcare?
From: William Deutsch, DPM
The AP recently ran an article stating that 25% of U.S. medical school graduates failed to match with a residency program. This isn't a new problem; it has been going on for years. But with the upheaval created by implementing PPACA (Obamacare), hospital-based medical organizations slowly replacing the private practitioner, insurers coming and going, government health insurance creating innovative ways to browbeat physicians into 'donating' their services, it's not difficult to conclude that top to bottom and bottom to top, the healthcare industry is really, really sick.
It also shows that PPACA isn't the solution. It isn't even a Band-aid. It's more like involuntary assisted suicide.
