Billing Service Provider

As someone who sold billing services & software to
DPM's for almost 20 years but no longer has a horse
in the race, I can offer this advice when searching
any firm:

-Make sure they handle podiatry and give you a
podiatrist in your state as a reference. Podiatry
billing is tricky and different. Get a
firm that knows it.

-If the rate is to good to be true, it probably
is.....You get what you pay for!

-Set Up a monthly meeting to go over A/R, what is
outstanding, any issues, etc. Try to work with a firm
where you deal with one account manager, so one point
of contact, is working your account

-Not so important but I would work with a firm in my
State...Again not imperative but easy at many levels.
Putting a face to the voice is
valuable on both ends.
