QUERIES (ICD-10)

Query: Correlation Between Board Certification and ICD-10?

 

ICD-10 is nearly upon us. Here is a question which may have no value and no correlation to our practices, but I am asking because I fear any adverse answer: Will there be any correlation between the ICD-10 changeover that may affect board certification? I mean affecting those who are diplomates as well as those who aspire to be.  If there are correlations, what are they?

Query: ICD-10 Panic

I have to admit that I have procrastinated on getting up to speed on preparing for ICD-10. I was simply hoping for a last-minute delay in ICD-10 implementation, which I am painfully aware will not happen. I am now planning taking the week off to prepare for ICD-10. What is the best course to take or webinar to view?

Query: Affordable ICD-10 Crosswalks

 

There are podiatrists independently trying to re-invent the wheel by coming up with their own ICD-10 crosswalks. It would be great if we could have one comprehensive podiatry ICD-10 list which many of us would be willing to pay a reasonable fee to obtain, from someone who has put forth the work to do it all. Is there anyone out there who has put together a comprehensive ICD-10 list that pertains to most all of the podiatry codes that we use, and could they share it for a reasonable fee for their hard work?
