I agree with Dr. Mullen, however don't ever rely
strictly on MRI results to be positive for a
neuroma. Even though radiologists swear they
can see them on MRI, I have excised many
neuromas where the MRI is negative. Rely on
clinical findings and be a good historian. You
may want to consider a novacaine/steroid
injection for diagnostic purposes as sometimes
even the slightest bit a relief points towards a
neuroma,
