PA Podiatrist's Office to Close After Her Untimely Death

 

Gina Marie Carlo, DPM was a Carbondale native and graduate of Carbondale Area Jr./Sr. High School. After graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University, she moved her practice back to her hometown of Carbondale. Dr. Carlo was more than just a foot doctor to all of her patients here in town -- she was like family!

On Nov. 16, just nine days after her 56th birthday, Dr. Carlo lost a very long fight with cancer. No matter how bad it got for her in the better part of her 14-year practice at her office, she never let her patients know she was suffering or the battles that she fought each and every day -- something only a doctor of her stature would do.
