TN Podiatrist's License Revoked for Practicing With a Suspended License

 

The Tennessee Podiatric Medical License of Michael W. Lawrence, DPM has been revoked. Lawrence's license was suspened on February 6, 2013 for dispensing, prescribing or otherwise distributing any controlled substance or any other drug not in the course of professional practice, or not in good faith to relieve pain and suffering, or not to cure an ailment, physical infirmity or disease. Lawrence examined and treated patients at the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic in Chattanooga, Tennessee while his license was suspended. Practicing podiatry while a license is suspended, whether for compensation or not, is a violation of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Practice Act.
