NY Clinical Conference Features Pre-Residency Workshops for Students
The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine's annual clinical conference, Mapping the Future of Podiatry, drew healthcare professionals from all over the country and beyond. Exhibit halls experienced heavy traffic with 4,175 participants including 1,445 podiatrists and exhibitors. Conference topics ranged from chronic pain, hallux valgus, sports medicine and diabetic wound care to in-office vascular testing, radiology, and practice management.

A major success and new in 2014 was a special set of workshops and seminars developed for students enrolled in podiatric colleges across the country, helping them prepare for residency programs and giving them direct contact with leading professionals and educators. 262 future podiatrists from six colleges attended the program.
