RE: NY Podiatrist Roughed Up by Former Boyfriend

I was shocked, dismayed, and offended to open my PM News last night to see the above headline, and pictured below Dr. Emily Splichal. I can't imagine what reason PM News would have for publishing this. I realize you were only quoting another news source, but it was a sensationalist piece, describing her as "a stilleto loving guru", "Dr. Legs", and "midriff baring" in her "glamour shot." It appears to me from the article Dr. Splichal has apparently already been through more than enough without publishing this for all of her colleagues to see. Why the original news source singled her out in the first place, when there are countless women who are victims of domestic violence every day, is beyond me as well. Please show Dr. Splichal, who is a smart, progressive podiatrist, and in my opinion, a new pioneer in our field, some respect, and respect her privacy as well.
