Query: Diabetic Shoe/Inserts (DME) Wholesale Suppliers

 

Can anyone recommend a full-service wholesale DME supplier who carries multiple lines of diabetic therapeutic shoes, multi-density inserts,  AFOs, crutches, CAM boots, etc.? I'm looking for a company with competitive pricing, simple and easy to use, and invoices customers once per month.

QUERY (DME)

Query: Fee for DMERC Recertification?

I was required to complete a recertification application to renew my DMERC status with Noridian. They indicate that it needs to be redone every 5 years. In addition, Noridian states there is a renewal fee of $500 for the 5-year period. I was under the impression that medical providers were exempt from the required $500 renewal fee, only required for suppliers. What are the current regulations in regard to this issue?
