NJ Podiatrist Dead After Apparent Suicide/ Attempted Homicide

Police are investigating a possible attempted murder-suicide in Rockland County. Authorities said a woman, identified by Clarkstown police as Dr. Victoria Vovchik, 45, stabbed her 7-year-old daughter several times, and then killed herself inside her home. The little girl was taken to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition.
