PA Podiatrist Named Consultant of the Year By Business Journal

In today’s climate of rising healthcare costs and limited face time with doctors, Dr. Lawrence Levine’s Foot Health Centers are bucking the trend. Levine has established five federally qualified health centers in South Jersey devoted to providing top podiatry care to low-income patients, and all of his 34 offices are staffed by doctors who still make house calls and are hired, in part, because of the quality of their “bedside manner.”

Levine’s 13 doctors make a total of 10,000 visits to underserved or homebound patients each year. They accept all forms of insurance and never turn a patient away. Foot Health Centers’ size enables it to use the most efficient diagnostic and treatment technologies on all patients in both its suburban offices and its health centers. As a result of its service, 90 percent of Foot Health Centers’ patients come from personal or physician referrals.
