I apologize to Dr. Bijak, and any other PM News subscriber if I have caused you dismay. My intention was NOT to offer advice, or to give a clinical opinion, but to share some possibilities for a pathology that might require further research. I think if you reread my response, you will find that I meant no harm. Although I am well-versed in biomechanics of the lower extremities, I am not a podiatrist, and do not claim to be one. I have the upmost respect for your profession and the body of knowledge you possess. Again, I am sorry if this caused any offense.
