OBITUARIES

John W Pagliano, DPM

On April 20, 2012, Dr. John W Pagliano sucumbed to cancer. Pagliano was a past president of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and adjunct instructor at the Califirnia College of Podiatric Medicine. He was the author of numerous articles in publications such as The Physician in Sports Medicine, Ameican Medical Joggers Association, Medicine and Sport Science, Runner's World, and Podiatry Management.

Dr. John Pagliano

Pagliano was an accomplished runner, having competed in over 500 races including 86 marathons and six 50-mile races. He was the USA-AAU National champion at 50 miles and the STC Athlete of the Year in 1969.
