'Good Samaritan' Helps Family of ill MT Podiatrist

 

Daniel Hodson, DPM, is a podiatrist with the Great Falls Clinic, a 41-year-old father of four who for years has been active and healthy. He organized “Rock The Clock” road races in Great Falls and his family has been leading proponents of an active lifestyle. His wife Emily said, “he’s normally very healthy, but he has developed some really serious problems with his kidneys.” Daniel got sick in early February. “Since then, he has had five surgeries,” Emily said.

Daniel’s condition worsened and he was hospitalized in Great Falls. He’d been scheduled to fly to New York City for surgery to save his left kidney. On the plane, he wasn't doing well, and “... this stranger shows up completely out of the blue,” Emily said. “He asked my husband to trade seats with him, to take his first-class seat, and he would sit in the back of the plane.” The story does not end there.
